Karl Lagerfeld presented the 2013 Chanel resort collection at Versailles today - taking inspiration from the paintings of Antoine Watteau, he created a quality collection that could we’d like to describe as Marie Antoinette meets rocker chick meets a pastel painted pallet. 

Uncle Karl brought a lot of crazy to the looks this time around, but we actually LOVE quite a few of the classic pieces (when you mentally break them down); the florals and rococo silhouettes, the colors. Though it’s a little out there for Chanel’s taste, we really dig this 18th century France meets 2013 vibe. Check out footage of the full show (above)!

Yes!! How exciting! Out of the public eye for some time now, Lady Gaga has been laying low while putting in hours and hours of hard work in preparation for her newest world tour (which seems to be selling out arena’s in minutes!).

Giorgio Armani, who has worked with Gaga many times in the past, has collaborated with her for a custom wardrobe for the tour, complete with all the over-the-top elements we’ve come to expect: latex, metal, studs, spikes, PVC, and one creation that integrates a slew of musical instruments.

“Collaborating with Lady Gaga is always an exciting experience for me,” said Armani in a release. “I admire the way she uses fashion as a scenic element and as a means to build a character. She is an artist of many talents and great intelligence. Creating stage costumes for her is a stimulating and creative exercise.”
